Privacy Policy
Reaching out for support is personal. Here’s exactly how your information is handled when you contact MindSoul.
Who we are
MindSoul Psychotherapy is the private practice of Rini Sharma, Ph.D., Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). As a health information custodian, Rini is responsible for protecting your personal health information under Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
What we collect through this website
When you submit the contact form, we collect the details you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number (optional), preferred contact method, reason for reaching out, preferred language, preferred date and time of day, and your message.
We do not collect clinical records through this website. Please share only what you're comfortable with — detailed clinical information is best discussed directly in session.
How we use your information
Your information is used only to respond to your inquiry, arrange a free consultation, and schedule services if you choose to proceed. We never sell, rent, or share your information for marketing purposes.
How your information is protected
Form submissions are stored in a secured database that can only be accessed by the practice through a password-protected dashboard. When a new request arrives, a notification email is sent to the practice inbox (info@mindsoul.ca).
We rely on trusted service providers to host this website and deliver email notifications. They process information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide those services.
Email and web forms are never completely risk-free. If you prefer, you can call 416-303-9165 instead.
Retention
Inquiries that do not lead to services are deleted within 12 months. If you become a client, your information is kept in a clinical record as required by CRPO standards and Ontario law.
Analytics
This website uses basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are visited). This information is not used to identify you personally.

You may ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time, by contacting info@mindsoul.ca. If you have concerns about how your information is handled, you also have the right to contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario (ipc.on.ca).
